At Wild Raven Learning, we believe education should be alive, inclusive, and rooted in curiosity. We create nature-based curriculum, sensory maps, and journaling tools that inspire children and families to learn with the land and engage all their senses. Alongside our creative resources, we offer English instruction and pre-college literature tutoring that helps students build confidence, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of words. Whether through a zine, a lesson, or a tutoring session, our mission is to nurture curiosity, imagination, and a sense of belonging in every learner.
We acknowledge that everywhere we gather, learn, and explore exists on land that has long been cared for by Indigenous peoples. We honor their deep connections to the earth, water, and sky, and we hold space for their histories, cultures, and ongoing presence. May our learning be rooted in respect, reciprocity, and gratitude for those who came before us and for the lands that continue to sustain us all.

I’m Ellie — an artist, educator, and world schooling mama. My work blends storytelling, art, and academic rigor with a belief that education is for everyone, everywhere. From early learners to teens preparing for higher education, I design learning experiences that are flexible, creative, and meaningful. I hold a B.A. in Modern English Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master’s in Travel and Recreation from CSU East Bay. I’ve earned a Nature Journaling Educator’s Certificate from the Wild Wonder Foundation, as well as a Certificate in Leadership from Orange Coast College. Over the past ten years, I’ve homeschooled, taught, and tutored learners of all ages. Through Wild Raven Learning, I strive to empower families and students to see the world as a classroom, to find joy in learning, and to discover that wonder and knowledge belong to all of us.
